From Amber…”Set against a stunning mountain range on a charming blackberry farm, this editorial celebrated seasonal transitions. As the blackberries began turning to their full, dark color and dusk settled over the fields, the light cooled and allowed us to capture the raw beauty and romance of this place.
Tucked between the blackberry rows, a reclaimed wood table became the perfect place for an intimate wedding dinner on a summer evening. A primitive stone mortar filled with seasonal blooms included clematis, delicate hydrangea, blackberry branches, blooming oregano, lavender and summer grasses. Rustic blackberry tarts garnished with local lavender by Kneading Gluten Free were served on a beautiful piece of raw black slate, serving as a beautiful alternative to traditional wedding cake. With raw knotted napkins and informal old world place settings, the textural tablescape allowed for a relaxed dining experience, with touches of soft candlelight for ambiance.
The bride wore a light-as-air dusty blue silk dress from Gossamer as she floated ethereally through the rows of blackberry bushes, with a wild rose bouquet on her arm. Bellacosa Beauty created a loosely twisted up-do complimented by a barely-there neutral smokey eye. Finished with minimal raw topaz jewelry, the look was perfect for a soft, romantic bride in this rustic pastoral setting.”
