Today we feature an absolute dream rustic modern wedding in the mountains of Utah. The Lodge at Blue Sky is known to many as a luxury ranch resort. What Lane and John’s team of vendors did was transform the space into a Fall picturesque wedding. This outdoor celebration took place with just 30 guests, one of the most important being their furry friend.

I was stunned at how the placement of these long wooden tables and tall chandeliers fit the scenery. The entire aesthetic was very intimate and romantic.

Lane talks to us about what inspired her rustic modern wedding theme:

“Having worked on events previously and being familiar with the area, I knew exactly which vendors I wanted to use and how the setup would go once we set the location and date. I was lucky enough to have an amazing group of vendors to help me pull everything together in 8-weeks and be open to trying new things that they had never done before… I wanted to organically highlight the land by illuminating spaces and separating out areas naturally so it did not feel like everything was taking place at the same venue. To do this we used the most amazing chandeliers over a kings table, vignettes of furniture, cowhides on hay bails for ceremony seating, and a beautiful dance space on the deck of Blue Sky’s 1800’s Tavern.”
