HOW THEY MET: While on LDS church missions in Tacoma, Washington HOW HE PROPOSED They climbed a tree in Central Park in NYC and he said he wanted to spend the rest of his life going on adventures with her; before their wedding they traveled through Africa and Europe and walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
