Make your black wedding dress dream come true with Claire La Faye.
Inspired by the colorful Arizona landscape, this editorial was a two-part project. The team were local Arizona vendors, including Sage & Stem and Posies Floral. From the start of this styled shoot, we had a vision. We are very excited to share how we made it come to life!
Part one was with our stunning model, Mia, and a custom black gown by Claire La Faye. Posies put combined textured blends of honey-colored roses, faded greenery, and pops of blush and mauve. This complemented the bold gown perfectly. We wanted to show the outcome of choosing one bold and one subtle piece. The results were seen in how it blends seamlessly.
Confessions of a hairstylist kept Mia’s lavender silver hair looking windswept in a romantic braid. The look was complete with custom-made earrings by Borcik.
Focusing on the tablescape tied this project together. Our inspiration came from a Fall gathering or intimate wedding event. Sage & Stem added tall black candlesticks to our table setting with a clean, simple marble place setting and overflowing blooms.
In the end, we were over the moon with the results. Hoping it inspires all you non traditional brides to be!
