This Blue Sky Ranch wedding reminds me of how fortunate I am with the couples I get to work with. Tim and Caroline have hearts of gold. They are some of the most thoughtful and kind people I have had the pleasure of getting to know. One could see the essence of their love spilling over to guests around them. Everyone connected and were so sweet to one another. Therefore, neither the bride or groom felt stressed on their special day, something I had the honor of capturing.
Tim and Caroline had their Blue Sky Ranch wedding during the beautiful summer Utah season. The Lodge at Blue Sky is one of our top venues for destination weddings. They specialize in events like elopements, micro weddings, and big family gatherings. One of the most unique elements this space offers are the various types of venues. From a yurt to a pergola, to a mountain-view terrace. This wedding was held in the ‘Arena’ venue. All made from recycled barn wood. You get 8,000 square feet of open space to bring your vision to life.
Blue Sky Utah was designed for weddings in mind. It has a stand-alone, remote scene without the resort vibes. Is your heart set on getting married in Utah with the ultimate nature experience? Then this location is for you.
The weather was perfect with a touch of breeze from the mountains. The Arena venue had big barn doors that allowed for some airflow inside the space. Something I love about summers in Park City, Utah is that even on super hot days, it always cools off throughout the late afternoon and evening.
Not many people realize that Park City Utah’s altitude is at 7,000. With this said, take extra care if you are arriving from a sea-level location. I recommend not planning anything for the first few days of your trip. An insider tip when attending a Park City wedding: ALWAYS stay hydrated and bring sunscreen because the sun is extra strong.
